So lets see what have we been up to? We have been busy little bee's. I have been working and getting more use to things at work. I have met some really nice and cool people (you know who you are)and some rather different people as well. But I am excited to have a more set schedule than it has been in the last couple of months. Blain has been just working away getting ready for all sorts of visit and different things. Poor kid dosent get enough sleep according to me. But hey who am I to talk I need like 12 hours. Avery has been doing school (with her aunt) and playing with her cousins who she just loves and loves to hate. I think they have a love/hate relationship. But who dosent when there are 4 girls within 6 months of each other. That is alot of drama for anyone!! And then there is Afton wow she is growing leaps and bounds. She turned 6 months yesterday. Oh my gosh. I cant beleive she is half a year already. Slow down..... She is talking and she has been saying "dada" along with lots of babbling. But she knows who dada is and will point in his direction if you say where is dada. Its so cute. She also loves to bounce in her bouncer. She will stay in there all day and just bounce exspecially when a song comes on that she knows. Its so funny. I have a video that I will try to post. As for our house they will start to dig not this week but next!! Hooray it should be done in September they tell us. Which is different than they first told us but at least its on its way. We are so excited and just cant wait. That is just a little of what has been going on with us.

All I can say is WOW!! What a big move from Hyrum to Saratoga Springs. It took a few trips but we are now all moved. Its been a long process but we have finally done till end of July or early August. That is when we will be finished building our new home. We have been so blessed with all the people that have helped us. I know that moving is no fun. But we really appreciate how hospitable Blain's sister(Tiffany)has been!! We are so lucky to have a place close to live while our house is being build. I cant tell you have helpful it has been. In more ways than one. I feel like there is no way I can repay the kindness that they have shown us. It will also be so nice to be so close to family again. We have experience lots of new stuff these last few months. Along with moving we have both started new jobs. Blain transfer so his job is not all new. But lots of new stuff to handle and he has done so great in just the few weeks he has been there. I am so proud of him. My job is all new and im just starting to learn all the stuff they have been training me on. There is so much to learn but I am so excited to be there and for all the opportunity that this job will give me now and in the future. Poor Avery has had such a hard time with all this change. She had to move away from everything she has ever known. All her friends and school mates. But she has done so good. I am glad she is such a happy outgoing girl. She cant wait for school to start up again out here. So she can meet all new friends. She is our social butterfly. My sweet baby Afton has just been growing. She is now 4 months old. Just last week she rolled over from her tummy to her back for the first time. She dosent like being on her tummy so she won't roll from her back to her tummy yet she stops at her side. Its so funny. Such a smart little thing. She is starting to gain more weight and fill out. But on the 18th of this month she will be 5 months and she is still in size 0-3. She is so small and just so darn cute. She started eating rice cereal this month and has just loved it she cant get enough. I think this girl has a hollow leg or something.

Yesterday (January 28th 2012) was a big moment for Afton she got her ears pierced!! It was not fun to watch her get them pierced but once again I am so glad that we did. My Mom got my ears pierced when I was her same age and I am still so happy that she did otherwise I wouldnt have them pierced. Thanks Mom!! And we did the same for Avery when she was Afton's age and it has been such a blessing. We have had no problems and its one more tradition that I have been able to share with them. I know it may seems so silly but me passing on the things I did when I was a kid is super important to me. And I feel its something that if they choose to they can pass on to their kids.

Afton is 2 months old today!! I cant beleive its been 2 months. Time has just zoomed by. She had her 2 month appt today with Dr. Clarke and she got her immunization. She got 2 shots in the right leg and 1 in the left leg. The vacciness that she got were: DTaP, Hib, hepatitis B Shot, polio shot, PCV7(against pneumonia & meningitis), RotaTeq drops. Poor girl I felt so bad for her.(I HATE shots) She has been a little irrtability which is one of the side effect along with sleeping more and not eating as well. Here are Afton's measurements for her Well Child 2 month check. Weight: 9lbs 6oz Lenght: 22 inches Head Circ: 36.9cm At this age babies start to lift their heads and can often lift the chest when lying on their tummies. Both Avery & Afton have had strong head movements. They have been holding their heads up almost from the fisrt week they were born. Afton has been smiling since she was first born and she has become even more smiley. I love to kiss her little cheeks and hold her up cause she will smile right back at me. She is such a happy baby and loves to be hald. That is the one thing that we struggle with. She will cry till you hold her and sometimes its just not possible to hold her all day. But she is getting more use to it as each day goes by. She has been such a good baby for the most part. We love having her as part of our lifes :)

I saw this on pinterest and of course had to do it. I have been wanting something just like this for my recipes. I thought it turned out pretty good. I had fun making it. I also maked one for a friend for her birthday and I thought it made for a good gift.
